Our owners, JP Rocha and Carlos Steiner, met each other while working in the countertop industry in 2015. With over 20 years of experience in countertop fabrication, design, and installation, each brings distinct skills and expertise.
Carlos has worked for many years doing templates (physical and digital) and installation, while JP has managed multiple fabrication teams. In 2019, they found themselves with lots of experience and energy and a desire to serve clients seeking a customer-focused experience and exceptional product quality.
Passionate about innovating and bringing unique designs to life, the combination of creativity and commitment to top-notch customer service led to the beginning of Excellence Stoneworks. Opening its doors in 2020, Excellence serves clients in Massachusetts and New Hampshire with unparalleled results.

The team of Excellence Stoneworks installers and polishers is a skilled group of professionals responsible for transforming raw stone materials into stunning architectural features.
Our installers meticulously set and secure your selected natural stone slab, tile, or countertops, ensuring precise alignment and a flawless finish to your project. Templaters play a crucial role in turning visions into reality. Our team of highly skilled professionals is responsible for accurately measuring and mapping out the dimensions and specifications of a project, such as countertops or flooring, using state-of-the-art technology and precision tools.
With meticulous attention to detail, our templaters ensure that the chosen natural stone materials will fit seamlessly into the designated spaces, accounting for any irregularities or unique features of the area. With all his charisma and technical knowledge, Carlos became responsible for the growth of the company’s network. He also leads all the technical details when the project starts (template) and when the project ends (installation).

Managing Partner and Head of Production. Joao brings over ten years of industry experience to Excellence Stoneworks. With a passion for new designs, architecture, and programming, he is the company’s famous artist! Joao loves to innovate and work on the most delicate projects.

Hemily brings over three years of experience in the industry, she tracks the company’s commercial jobs getting involved with all the project management and she also does sales, assisting all customers that come to our showroom. With over five years of industry experience, Wellington is the go-to polisher. While he started part-time assisting with commercial jobs, Excellence Stoneworks is pleased to have Wellington as one of the oldest employees in fabrication.
